Program Overview

Online Program

UM has a distance education version of the program for students working full-time in elementary schools as either a teacher or paraeducator. Your school system must be willing to allow you to complete your field experience components within your school to take advantage of this option. In the face-to-face version of the program, students will attend classes in the mornings and afternoons, gaining four semesters of practical experience and networking in local public elementary schools. The face-to-face option is designed for full-time graduate students. Please see the sample schedules below for more information.
